1) If you could have any record in the
world, what would it be and why?
Not only one, I want all of them!!
2) Who are your biggest influences in DJ'ing
Alvaro, my boyfriend, who was the very first to introduce me to the DJ
world and a guy called Mark Stewart (do you know him?? ;-)
3) If you could DJ another style, other than
that you are known for, what would it be?
I’m trying more and more to include all Mod styles in my sets, so my
answer is I like to DJ anything from R&B, Soul, Ska, Jazz and a little
British Beat thrown in for good measure.
4) Why did you become a DJ, rather than a
collector?
Djing is a good way to spread the faith and not only keeping it.
5) What's the "best" record you own?
I feel a special love for records by The Miracles, The Marvelettes and
the broken voice of Howlin’ Wolf.
6) Where is you favourite place to eat, and
the best meal they serve.?
Mexican or Italian food restaurants, mmmmmmh!
7) Do you collect anything else?
Apart from clothes and shoes, magazines and memorabilia Mod related.
8) Favourite drink?
Beer and coke.
9) Most embarrassing / funny moment whilst
DJ'ing
When you’ve drunk much more than your liver can stand and don’t know
why you decide to push that attractive button on the decks that
switches off the music (oh dear, why did I do that!??)
10) Favourite movie (or type of movie)
40s, 50s and 60s comedies. One of my faves is
“Boeing Boeing” with Jerry Lewis and Tony Curtis and of course “The
Philadelphia Story”.

1) If you could have any record in the
world, what would it be and why?
Probably many I still don’t know they even exist.
2) Who are your biggest influences in
DJ'ing and why?
People with huge collections and good taste in
music, anyone that surprise me. Many to name them in here but surely
Mark Stewart is amongst them he, he…
3) If you could DJ another style, other than that you are known for,
what would it be?
I used to be a Jazz collector many moons ago, almost a beatnik. I
still love Be bop, Hard bop, the Blue Note and Prestige LPs and all that
kind of stuff.
4) Why did you become a DJ, rather than a
collector?
I’m firstly and mostly a collector and after a DJ. I’m more
comfortable listening to music at home than Djing in public (I’m a very
shy guy).
5) What's the "best" record you own?
Better two: “Dimples” by John Lee Hooker for obvious reasons, it’s
that kind of song you’re always humming and you just can’t get out of
your head and “Buzz with the fuzz” by Chris Farlowe. It took me ages to
get hold of a issue copy since I was incredibly impressed first time I
listened to it. Seriously rare record but not so expensive as people may
think.
6) Where is you favourite place to eat, and
the best meal they serve.?
Mum’s home. Everything but beans.
7) Do you collect anything else?
I can’t call it collecting but I’ve got the odd habit of keeping
everything.
8) Favourite drink?
Beer and water.
9) Most embarrassing / funny moment whilst
DJ'ing
Euro Yeyé 2003 whilst djing the ceiling fell off its place on my
head!!
10) Favourite movie (or type of movie)
“Gremlins” and many 80s movies, really love them. “The Italian Job”
is a great movie.
